I had just recently bought an acoustic guitar, a Fender FD 60, which sounds so good at 45KD.
But i wasn't easy. I had a very hard time looking at search engines where to buy guitars..
Luckily, I got a message from a friend regarding the whereabouts of a Music Store near Marina Mall (Salmiya) which is just infront of Max Department Store. Aldawliah is the name of the store and for music instrument fanatics you'll love being in there.
There is so much musical stuff at that store, digital drum sets, amplifiers, electric guitars, violins, etc. I spent an hour looking around before finally settling down for the acoustic guitar. Although the choice is limited to Yamaha and Fender for acoustics, it will also vary on your budget because some Yamaha Acoustic Guitar with pickups are around 150-180 KD. :D
How to go? : You can take a taxi, which is around 1 - 1.5KD depending on your location, but in my case I tried taking the city bus # 66 from Farwaniya area a good 45minute 200fils trip with traffic.. :)
